Real-time voice conversion hardware for character performers. A standalone wearable that transforms the wearer's voice with sub-second latency. No PC, no phone, no internet: on-device inference on NVIDIA embedded hardware with all-day battery. I rewrote the RVC inference path in Rust, cut end-to-end latency by 60%, and I'm now designing my own architecture. The footage here is raw and unscripted: this is what the prototype sounds like today.
In-home technology support for Dade City, Zephyrhills, and greater Pasco County. A real business I founded and operate under JGlacier LLC. Flat-rate visits, a "solved, or it's free" guarantee, fully insured. I do all of it: the house calls, the bookkeeping, the marketing, and I designed and built the website.
Led a team of 7 seniors to replace manual Excel forecasting for a real parts distributor. AR, SARIMA, VAR, and Temporal Fusion Transformer models with per-SKU selection, full AWS infrastructure, and a Vue.js app with confidence intervals, delivered into the client's own AWS environment with Excel export for seamless adoption.
Real-time queue management for open mic nights and live events. WebSocket-powered live updates, mobile performer signup, full-screen venue displays, and a staff admin dashboard. Fully serverless at ~$0.50/month, and the Music Association at Florida Poly still uses it.
I'm Jacob Diaz-Iglesias, a software engineer and founder. I spent three consecutive summers at Amazon building high-throughput distributed systems, invited back each year, and earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Florida Polytechnic in June 2026. I run JGlacier LLC, home to Porchlight Tech and Vellic, and I like building practical, well-considered systems and understanding how software connects to the hardware and people who use it.
Outside of work, I'm a car enthusiast ๐๏ธ and motorcycle rider ๐๏ธ, a tenor saxophonist ๐ท, and an Eagle Scout โ๏ธ. I value integrity, determination, and above all positive intent, and I try to carry those principles into my work and life as a lifelong learner.
I'm currently open to full-time software engineering roles, and to contract work through JGlacier LLC. I work primarily in Python, TypeScript, and Java, and the problems that excite me most are real-time audio, ML systems, and health tech.

Founded and operate a Florida LLC spanning software consulting and two ventures I run end to end: Porchlight Tech (in-home tech support for Pasco County) and Vellic (real-time voice conversion hardware).
Led 7 seniors to replace Excel forecasting for $18MM in inventory across 9,000+ SKUs. Delivered into the client's AWS environment.
Metrics aggregation service processing hundreds of thousands of data points per second, adopted by dozens of Amazon teams for dashboards and alerting.
Expanded internal distributed tracing to cover 100% of item detail page views, saving multiple engineer-days of monitoring per month.
Automated configuration workflows for Amazon Alexa scientists, reducing experiment setup time.
